After a call from Smart Boy Kirru at 16:00 on 28-Mar-2009, my preparation for the Benki meet started... was there between 18:30 / 18:45 and surprisingly I was the first to be at the Benki meet (That made me realize that I have been either missing the Benki meet as they would be coming to “Benki Nilaya” or reaching there very late)
Every time I am late or do not go to Benki our regular Masala Puri person use to ask why I was absent from the group (may be missing the TIP I pay him every time :-)) however this week he was absent and I was very hungry, hence we all went to Kottureshwara Davanagere Benne Dosa and then we split into two group where one group went to Upahara Dharshini and the other group to Srivinasa Cool corner...
Subba and me on our way back from UD to Benki spot bumped into Prasanna’s Aahuu Ahuuu and congratulated her on getting job in Thomson Reuters...
Then it was a routine talk about everything else on the planet and bitching about entire married Benki boys who were missing from the meet; half married Dr. Adiga was kind enough of come with his to be better half to record his presence / attendance. We are moved to Nisarga to have light dinner as some of us already had Dosa.
Everyone dispersed after the dinner and most of the Benki members announced that they would be missing from the meet next week due to various reasons...
Who do you refer to in "Prasanna’s Aahuu Ahuuu ", i have no clue about this :o

It was a pleasant evening with cool breeze around… truly wonderful weather to experience… that to with Benne dosa, reaaaally amazing.... tell me who likes to miss it??
ReplyDeleteAt benki bench, as usual we spoke about our ups and downs during the week which regained our energy back to face another week of challenge…. But Sudhi was missing in his own world searching for something with ‘Eno Ide’ song… :-)
It was a happy moment for all of us as Adiga was coming with his fiancé to Benki Meet regularly… it was looking as though the benki meet is not only for boys, it was for their wives too… very interesting… Adiga, you are creating a foot print in benki’s history… cheers to you….
We never forget the ‘nature’ in any of our benki meets…. Do you agree guys? I mean ‘Nisaraga’… our day does not end without Veg Parota, Special Masale and a sip of juice (Prassana’s favourite)... Really ausum...

Aahuu Ahuuu is subject of suspense for me :-s .. nice to see many comments droppin in. Also good to know that Adiga is marking his presence along with his fiancé, may be this will change the trend and make the rest of the Benki bachelors to find a partner soon ;)
ReplyDeleteI would love to listen to the ringtone composed by Subba(Hoping chikk meetru).I wish to slurp the indian dishes, i specially miss parota n dal of Nisarga, Benne dosey with mensinkai bajji, UD vada n sambar wid hot n strong coffee, Masala puri, Corn, Flavored milk, boti masala, what not...
